Jio leaves behind BSNL, becomes largest fixed line broadband provider

Well, now that the times of the Digital world is here and everyone is glued to their phones on the Internet every day so as to get the work done or maybe to get the education covered, the Internet is playing a huge role in everyday activities in the life of a common person.

Well, that means that the people are going for a more broadband connection required to access the Internet. Also, Jio is providing good service made people choose this spectacular broadband for themselves.

After just 2 years of commencement, Jio had successfully toppled the place of the BSNL broadband that is a state-run company and which had been in place for the last 20 years. BSNL had been at the top for a long period of time, and we did not think that we are going to actually see the first place in this sector be taken away from them so soon.

Jio Fibre came out quite recently if we are looking at the time period that BSNL had been operating. If we are looking at Stats, then it comes as a surprise when we see the rapid growth of Jio.

Reliance Jio fixed-line broadband had a huge customer base in the first place, but then it increased to 4.34 million in November, and then at a very rapid rate, it got to go up from 4.16 million in October last year.

BSNL’s customer base had seen better days as they started to face a decline to 4.2 million in November from 4.72 million in October.
