Panic Ordering By Retailers is Making The Supply Chain Crisis ‘Even Worse’

There are retailers and manufacturers who are panicking because of the supply chain crisis situation that is going on for quite some time now.

As a matter of fact, we are seeing that the retailers and manufacturers are placing more orders and over-ordering stuff since they are panicking.

This is all making the situation even worse than before. This is truly not helping anyone at all. And in the future, everyone is going to face the same problem.

Panic Ordering By Retailers is Making The Supply Chain Crisis 'Even Worse'

“Suddenly this had happened that all of the retailers and all of the manufacturers are now over ordering stuff for them because of the fear of the supply chain problems that we are currently going through.

However, that is not helping anyone at all and that is all just leading to essentially an even worse scenario,” said Jonathan Savoir in a statement, he is the CEO of supply chain technology firm Quincus.

The problem of this case is that there are too many people who are demanding stuff and the supply chain is in shatters because of several factors this year. The locking down of ports, the labor shortage, the container problem as well as the problem of this Coronavirus situation are all responsible for the disruption of the supply chain crisis.

There is also an energy crisis going on in China and Europe. This is all causing a lot of problems in the life of the people. After the lockdown was lifted, we also got a sudden increase in the demand of all the people.

The holiday season is also coming up. So more and more people are making more and more demands. The situation is getting more and more complicated day by day.

“Because of all the problems that we are facing are well known, orders for the raw materials, some of the component parts, as well as that of finished goods are now being placed.

But there is a difference as they are now placed earlier than normal, what this is causing is lengthening the queue, and thereby it is creating a vicious cycle,” the firm said. That’s all there is to it.
