Starbucks is going on with a good wage hike that is going on in the service sector and helping the people too. They had gone ahead and announced this Wednesday that they are going to raise wages for all of its United States baristas.
This is going to be at least twice in 2022. This is a huge leap that you are going to see maybe in the franchise for quite some time. It is now going to bring its pay floor to $15 an hour. This is next year’s plan, and it should complete by the end of summer.
The announcement has been made because the restaurant business is going down. It is going to have a bad time as many people are not wanting to work in the restaurant business anymore, so there is a shortage of staff.
However, there is the fact that the lockdown has been lifted, and the demand for food is coming back among the people.
Domino’s Pizza, Chipotle Mexican Grill, McDonald’s, and Popeyes’ owner of the companies and the name Restaurant Brands International had come up ahead in public and said that they had faced labor challenges because of the pandemic.

As a result of this, many restaurant chains have been set back, and they faced a lot of losses too. Starbucks is one of them.
They have been understaffed for some time, and the staff that was currently working in the store had to face certain problems because of it and then started complaining.
In an effort to draw more staff and let the others be satisfied too, Starbucks came with the most practical plan. They offered a raise.
The company had played this game well, and now they are planning on giving a second pay hike for the summer of 2022.
